Fundraising

'Through community activities, such as providing food to the local food banks, pupils recognise what it means to contribute to their local area and be part of the wider world.' Ofsted July 2021

At St Paul of The Cross Catholic Primary School, we raise funds for a range of charities throughout the year through lots of different events and services.

During our Harvest and Feast Day celebrations in October, we support the work of CAFOD. We also share harvest gifts with the Warrington Food Bank.

In December, we celebrate our Gift Mass, at which we collect gifts, food and household items for St Joseph's Family Centre.

During Lent we raise money for CAFOD through our Easter celebrations and raffles.

Throughout the year, we also; host a Mcmillan coffee morning, sell poppies for the Royal British Legion and  daffodils for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The children and families in our school are very generous in supporting such a range of causes, and we are very proud of how committed they are to helping others locally, nationally and globally.
