Fundraising

At St Paul of The Cross Catholic primary School, we raise fund for a range of charities throughout the year through lots of different fun events!

During our Harvest celebrations in October, we support the work of CAFOD. We also share harvest gifts, either donated or grown in our school allotments, with the Warrington Food Bank.

In December, we celebrate our Gift Mass, at which we collect gifts for children who will be spending Christmas in Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

During Lent, the School Council launch our Young Apprentice Project. This year, every one was challenged to make Easter bonnets, eggs and cakes to sell at a giant cake sale. The money raised will be split between the Nugent Care Good Shepherd Appeal and the school fund.

Throughout the year, we also sell poppies for the Royal British Legion, daffodils for Marie Curie Cancer Care and a range of products for St Rocco's Hospice.

The children and families in our school are very generous in supporting such a range of causes, and we are very proud of how committed they are to helping others locally, nationally and globally.
