Harvest Celebration

Once again we have had an extremely generous response from our parents with the donations made to the Warrington Foodbank as part of our Harvest celebration. The food will go to people in need in the Warrington area.

Thank you to the children in Reception Class and Key Stage 1 for leading this wonderful whole school celebration Mass.

School Mission Day

To celebrate the feast day of St Paul of the Cross on October 20th, we took the opportunity to explore further our Mission Statement and think about what makes our school a special community to be a  part of.

The children took part in lots of activities throughout the day, including creating pieces of art work, which are going to be put together to form a wall in our prayer garden.

Thank you to Mrs McNicholas who came and worked with the children to create these pieces of art to represent our school Mission Statement.

Movie Night

Another great event (Tuesday 18th October) arranged by our Friends' Association.  Thanks to all volunteers - staff and parents - who helped to organise and run this fundraiser.  A great time was had by all.

Brighten up this Harvest and build a brighter world

Thank you to all our children and families for supporting our non-uniform day to raise money to support the work of CAFOD around the world.  We enjoyed a lovely assembly led by a representative from CAFOD.  Our donation to CAFOD totals £141 - well done everyone!

Rugby Tournament

Well done to the Year 6 rugby team who did amazingly this week when representing our school at a tournament at Lymm High School.  Our team made it to the semi-final unbeaten but did not make the final...this time!

They showed great sporting behaviour and we are really proud of their achievement.

Judaism Week

This week (week beginning 3rd October) all the children have been learning about Judaism, the beliefs, customs and traditions.  The children have also explored what we share in common as Christians with people of the Jewish faith.
