When Sasha got swept up the chimney

HUGE congratulations to all of the children involved in this production which was a great success and enjoyed by everyone.

Thank you to Mrs Mairs and to the many people who helped to put on the production and to those who assisted and supported us each night. We are very grateful to all of those people who gave up their time to make such a special event for the children.

Year 4 Rejoice Assembly

Thank you Year 4 for sharing you learning from Come and See in your Rejoice Assembly on the theme of "Calling".  You sang and read with confidence and shared a clear message through your prayers and role play.

Google Expeditions

Key Stage 2 children had the fantastic opportunity to travel across space and time, around the world and into places they neven thought possible with the help of Goole Expeditions.  Using the 3D visualisers our children took part in exciting expeditions linked to their class topics.  WOW! What an amazing experience!

Today we remember

At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, our whole school community gathered together in remebrance of those who have risked or given their lives in conflict in the past and still today.

They shall not grow old,

As we grow old:

Age shall not weary them,

Nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.

football friendly

Football friendly

Another great performance by the Football Team on Thursday evening  (10th November).  They player a friendly match against Cinnamon Brow Primary School here at home, and won 3 - 2!  Well done team!

Football Tournament

2 football teams represented St Paul of the Cross Catholic Primary School in a small schools football tournament on Thursday 3rd November.  Both teams played brilliantly and showed great team spirit and excellent sporting behaviour.  As expected they represented our school to a very high standard.

A particular congratulations to one of our teams who won the tournament overall, and will go on to compete in county finals in January! An amazing performance.

Friendship Week

During this week the children have focussed on:

  • Building and maintaining friendships and positive relationships
  • Keeping safe, including how to stay safe online
  • What bullying is
