Christmas Assembly

Christmas Assembly

On the last day of term, the children reminded us all of the real reason we celebrate Christmas. They shared the Nativity story through the giving of gifts, and talked of the hope, peace, love and joy that God gave to the world in the most precious gift of Jesus.

May you have a peaceful and joyful Christmas filled with love and hope for the new year ahead.

Everyone at St Paul of the Cross Catholic Primary School send you all our best wishes this Christmas.

Christmas celebrations

Oh what fun we've had in our Christmas jumpers!

And then we all enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner together today. Yum!

Gift Mass

On Friday 9th December, Year 3 led a beautiful Christmas Gift Mass.

Thank you as always to everyone for their generosity in sharing Christmas gifts for the children who will be spending the Christmas period in Alder Hey Children's hospital.

I am sure that these gifts will bring Christmas joy to the children and their families.

Christmas Counts!

Well done to Reception and Key Stage 1 for 2 brilliant performances of "Christmas Counts".  The singing, speaking and acting were amazing.  You all did a great job in reminding everyone of the real reason we celebrate Christmas.

Christmas Extravaganza

Thank you to the Friends' Association for organising a fantastic Christmas extravaganza once again this year.  The event was a huge success, well attended by children and families of St Paul of the Cross and the wider community.

The funds raised by our Friends' Association allow us to continue to improve our school for your children.
