Home Learning - Spring Term 1

Good morning Year 4!

You can find the powerpoint for today's work below. I have also emailed this document to your Office 365 emails.

Please remember that I am still teaching in school so sometimes my response will not be as quick as other times, but I will respond to you the next school day at the latest.

I'm sorry I won't get to see all your lovely faces for a while but don't forget to smile and just try your very best.

Miss Stoker x

Reminders

PE

Please ensure your child wears their PE kit every Wednesday for PE.

Plain white t-shirt (with school crest optional), plain black shorts, trainers for outdoor PE and plain black joggers/tracksuit for outdoor PE.

Reading books

Your child needs to bring their reading book and reading diary into school each day. They will be collected in on a Thursday and a new book will be sent home on a Friday.

Please read with your child and sign their diary at least 3 times a week.

Homework

Will be sent out on a Friday and due back the following Thursday.

Spellings

Children will be given weekly spellings which they need to be practising at home as well as in school. Spelling tests will take place every Monday. Please see the documents above with statutory spellings that children in Year 4 need to know.

Maths

It is important that Year 4 children know all of their timestables up to 12 x. This year, children will be expected to take the National Multiplication Tables Check. For further guidance please visit: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/multiplication-tables-check-development-process
